A smart electrical installation is only one part of a building. On some projects we therefore work with partners, and we are looking for more, from construction and architecture to lighting and home technology. Everyone does what they know best; BARAQ designs, supplies and commissions the smart installation.

We are looking for partners in construction, architecture, lighting and home technology. Who exactly, and what working together can give you, is below.
Who we are looking for
No single company builds a good house.
Construction, technology, light and interior all have to fit together. So for each field we say plainly what working with us can give you and what we need from you.
Builders and developers
- What you can get
- You hand over houses with the smart electrical installation done. BARAQ designs, supplies and commissions it; you get on with the build.
- What we need from you
- The drawings and build schedule in good time, ideally before the electrical design. The cables have to go in before the plaster.
Architects and building designers
- What you can get
- We draw the switches, sensors and distribution board into your plans with you, so they have their place before building starts.
- What we need from you
- The design and the client's brief before the electrical design, while anything can still move.
Interior designers
- What you can get
- We fit the placement of switches and sensors to your design and set the lighting scenes so each room feels the way you designed it.
- What we need from you
- The furniture and lighting layout, and a sense of how each room should feel.
Lighting designers
- What you can get
- Your lighting design gets its controls: dimming, the colour of white through the day and scenes on the ioSWIPE wall control.
- What we need from you
- The lighting plan with circuits and fitting types before the wiring goes in. Every light needs its own line: a dedicated cable or the DALI bus.
Light fitting manufacturers
- What you can get
- Fittings we have tried out with BARAQ are ones we can recommend in our customers' lighting designs.
- What we need from you
- Datasheets and samples to test, ideally fittings controlled over DALI.
Home technology manufacturers
Heat pumps · solar and inverters · batteries · ventilation with heat recovery · wallboxes · shading · sensors
- What you can get
- Once your device talks to the ioMASTER controller, we can recommend it to customers choosing their technology. It then runs in one system together with the lights and the rest of the house's technology.
- What we need from you
- A description of the communication interface, a unit to test and an engineer to fine-tune the integration with.
Electricians and electrical contractors
- What you can get
- When customers have no electrician of their own, we recommend one. It could be you, with our wiring plan in hand.
- What we need from you
- Qualification for 230 V work and careful wiring to our plan: the bus to every module, power to the lights and sockets, everything into one distribution board.
